Girls Golf Spring Sports Photos

This spring, I attended my first ever high school golf event. While I did learn to golf a few summers ago (thanks to my husband’s patience!), I had never attended a meet.

It was fun to watch the girls varsity golf team in action. People truly don’t give enough credit to golfers - it is a difficult sport, requires mental toughness, and the day I went to photograph was over 70 degrees and sunny for the majority of the meet! Kudos to these athletes!

Also, if you have followed my photography business for awhile, something you know is I am TERRIFIED of birds. I was not prepared for the amount of geese roaming the course, especially with their little ones following around. I was thankful my husband was along as my assistant for the day and for my security against the dreaded birds. A special shoutout to one of the golfers (see the last photos!) who was putting and had a goose fly up right behind her!
